Base Metals

Horomela Mining Investment & Resources is an aspiring base metal exploration, development and mining South African junior. The company is based in Johannesburg and is currently the only 100 % black owned base metal Company in South Africa.

Horomela currently hold significant mining tenements around the Northern Cape Province that are over 400 000ha in extent.

Horomela has 7 Granted Prospecting Rights (11212PR, 11327PR, 11592PR, 11593PR,11594PR, 11820PR and 11823PR) and 3 Accepted Prospecting Applications.

The Namaqualand tenements are in the vicinity of the world renowned Black Mountain Mine and the Gamberg Project close to the small town of Aggeneys and the Okiep Copper Field in Springbok.

The prospecting rights are mainly held for (i) lead (Pb), and zinc (Zn) with associated minerals like; nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), silver (Ag), and barium (Ba) and (ii) Lithium (Li), Beryllium (Be), Tantallite (Ta), Tungsten (W) and Rare Earth Elements (REE).

Horomela would want to have a lasting and resounding footprint in the base metals exploration and mining sector.

Currently the company has a multi-pronged approach to achieve this; explore and develop own prospecting rights, acquire advanced brownfield projects and participate in acquiring equity stake positions in operational base metal mines that are strategically aligned to the long-term growth prospects of Horomela.
