David Katemaunzanga (BSc, BSc (Hon) (UZ), MSc (UFH), GDE (Wits) Pr. Sc. Nat.);
David has over 10 years of experience as an exploration and project geologist/manager. He has worked extensively in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania and DRC. His experience is in coal, phosphates, gold, and REE’s. David has worked for organizations such as Hwange Colliery, Council for Geoscience and Geological Survey of Zimbabwe. As a Senior Geological Consultant he has consulted for mining and exploration companies such as AngloGold Ashanti, Clear Phos, Universal Coal and Montero Mining and Exploration. He holds a BSc, MSc and GDE in Geology from the Universities of Zimbabwe, Fort Hare and Wits respectively.
Ephraim Masibhera (BSc (UZ), MGSSA, MGSZ)
Ephraim has over 10 years as a mine and exploration geologist working for multinational mining and exploration companies. He has worked for Buchwa Iron Mining Company, Caledonia Blanket Gold Mine, and Rio Tinto’s Renco Gold Mine all in Zimbabwe, Bohlaba Mines SA, MSA Geoservices and Bastillion Resources. Ephraim has worked as a consultant for Lonmin Platinum SA, Newmont Ghana, Anglo Gold Ashanti DRC, BHP Billiton Zambia, and GS Cimentos Mozambique, Rani Investments Mozambique and Montero Tanzania and SA projects. Ephraim’s experience as an exploration and project senior geologist has primarily involved initial conceptualisation, target generation and grass-roots prospecting, through to supervision of drilling programmes, project evaluation, and participation in feasibility studies. Ephraim holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently studying towards an MSc degree.
Project Process Engineer
Serame Mashoeng (B.Eng.)
Serame Mashoeng is a sincere, motivated, experienced and committed individual with a B.Eng. (Chemical with Minerals Processing) degree from the North West University (formerly Potchefstroom University, PUKKE). He has over 10 years’ experience in chemical and metallurgical engineering with solid metallurgical process design experience and R&D. Serame has been involved mainly in metallurgical process design projects as a process engineer working on various projects covering base metals, gold, PGMs, diamonds and Rare Earth Minerals. As a process engineer he has been involved in different phases of the project from feasibility, budgets, preliminary design and detailed design whereby in some cases he has played the role of a lead on small projects.
He recently was working as a process engineer for a rare earth company and was responsible for the test work management and all process development studies/duties pertaining to the development of a rare earth minerals concentrator plant and the refinery and also involves travelling locally and abroad to engage with different stakeholders (engineering companies and research institutions) as a company’s technical representative.
